TO THE CUCKOO

O BLITHE New-comer! I have heard,

I hear thee and rejoice.

O Cuckoo! shall I call thee Bird,

Or but a wandering Voice?

While I am lying on the grass

Thy twofold shout I hear,

From hill to hill it seems to pass,

At once far off, and near.

Though babbling only to the Vale,

Of sunshine and of flowers,

Thou bringest unto me a tale

Of visionary hours.

Thrice welcome, darling of the Spring!

Even yet thou art to me

No bird, but an invisible thing,

A voice, a mystery;

TO THE CUCKOO

O BLITHE New-comer! I have heard,

I hear thee and rejoice.

O Cuckoo! Shall I call thee Bird,

Or but a wandering Voice?

While I am lying on the grass

Thy twofold shout I hear,

From hill to hill it seems to pass,

At once far off, and near.

Though babbling only to the Vale,

Of sunshine and of flowers,

Thou bringest unto me a tale

Of visionary hours.

Thrice welcome, darling of the Spring!

Even yet thou art to me

No bird, but an invisible thing,

A voice, a mystery;

Oh , cheerful visitors ! It's certainly thou

Listen to the song of thee , I will be filled with joy

Oh , cuckoo ! Should not thy will be bird

Is it not a voice sacred you Wandering ?

Lying on top of green grass eggplant

I hear the cry of double

The song pass to the hill from hill

Once far away , near the once

Just call but also to the valley Adokenaku

The road full of fragrance , the flowers in the light of the sun

To me , thou tell the story of Kano secret

I bring imagination when leaving the ground

Darling of the spring , the words of Mitabi welcome !

For me , Thou art just

Rather than the birds , it is the presence of invisible

Is the essence of the mystery is the ethereal voice

Ideal of romanticism
As can be seen from the representation of this poem , to hear the voice of a real cuckoo , Wordsworth is sensitive mystery images and vision and the ( mystery ) from there . Beyond that cuckoo specific " bird " , and perceiving a vision that resonates with the soul , Wordsworth is singing the self that is in the frontier of self-surrender to the sublime profundity of nature .

Not to be found anywhere , but Romanticism is figuration and an ideal world there somewhere , as a manifestation of feelings that can not help seeking constantly frontiers . And " Document gel poetry in yellow narcissus " "Song of the soul immortal (Intimation of Immortality) " is also in , while singing and daffodils specific , the field and forest , in fact Wordsworth euphoria of sentiment mysterious in that beyond , nowhere , but is you're praising the " joy of sympathy " that exists in the " mystery of the soul " exactly .
